Your first visit to our practice will be about getting to know your chiropractor, and a chance for us to get to know you!
New Patients
First Visit
Before your appointment to the clinic it would be beneficial if you would gather copies of your medical records and any recent radiographs if available. You will also be asked to bring a list of all medications and supplements that you are currently taking.
You will be requested to fill out a medical history form including information on medications you are currently taking and recent trauma, illnesses, or treatments by other health care practitioners. This is the most important step in your treatment; it allows our doctors to get the "whole" picture of your health. Next you will be examined. After a thorough examination of your concern is completed, radiographs (x-rays) may be necessary as per doctor's discretion.
We will take a look at the overall results, and, together, come up with a plan of action specifically for you. We will talk about the type of treatment you will be receiving, any preparation necessary before beginning treatment, and when you can expect to see results. We will also discuss any lifestyle changes that may help you with your goals.
This may conclude your first visit. If not, the doctor may commence protocol on the same day.
